Hiking followed by breweries…yay!
We go beyond the city on this trip to enjoy a refreshing hike before sampling some of the fine beers on offer in this great place.
We start the day off driving to a gorgeous destination for a guided hike, typically we will hike for 2 to 3 miles in total. After that, we continue on to visit 2 to 3 breweries. We have our favorites but we are happy to try and accommodate your requests too!
Destinations visited could vary as we tailor our tours to seasonal changes (and do our best to avoid where the crowds go!). Let us drive you around beautiful Asheville area & be your guide while you enjoy local brews care-free. We are happy to tailor this to wineries or cideries on a private tour.

We start downtown, looking at glorious art-deco architecture coupled with a detailed history of the area. Following that, we’ll venture for a comprehensive tour of the gloriously beautiful Riverside Cemetery. We will stop at graveyards and delve into the intriguing history of many of Asheville’s past literary and/or notable residents including William Sydney Porter (aka O’Henry), Thomas Wolfe & his family, the ‘founding fathers’ of Asheville and Asheville’s connection to the cursed Hope Diamond.
The walking element of the tour is classified as easy to moderate. This tour is for history and architecture buffs!
The driving tour is by private luxury SUV. We are fully licensed and insured.
If you would prefer to walk at a slower pace, please contact us so that we can see if we can accommodate you on a private tour. A small supplement will apply
GET TO KNOW ME
Hi I’m Natasha and thanks for checking out Brass Monkey Photography. My passions in life (apart from photography, of course) are rescue animals, craft beer and traveling to as much of the world as I can.
I’m a “foster-failure” when it comes to pets, at one point I had 13 cats (I guess that officially makes me a crazy cat lady) but I’m OK with that. I now have a more manageable 3 cats but who knows when that number might increase!
If you are interested in a photography session please reach out to me and ask me anything! I love meeting new people and fyi… I am an introvert at heart and so I fully appreciate how ‘awkward’ it can feel to be in front of a camera lens. The most important and endearing thing that my clients tell me is that they had FUN with me. Getting you to relax and be comfortable in your skin is my job and I LOVE it.
Boring stuff…I’m a member of the Professional Photographers Association and hold certification from the New York Institute of Photography – but you’re not interested in that…you just want to know that I am going to make you look and feel beautiful. Photographs as keepsakes.
